There are plenty of community peeps with the skills to at least update the game. If Epic loosens the reins on using the UE4 engine and provides some of the basic elements, the community can take it from there, a la Create Something Unreal. I almost hope this is what happens except as an Onslaught/Warfare player I'm afraid the vehicle game modes (which would also include vCTF) might get short-shrifted. Also, this is a game that should be dev'ed on the PC and maybe later ported to console, so I'm skeered Epic may try to bastardize the game that way. Anyhoo, we'll know more Thursday at 2pm (Eastern?)
There are playable pre-alpha's out now. Fun to watch the progress. I'm an Onslaught/Warfare kinda guy. Vehicular gametypes of course will be near the end. p00p.
